Brad Garner | Director

With over 20 years in the industry, Brad is an experienced structural steel detailer specializing in hot rolled steel, light gauge steel framing (LGSF), and hybrid structural systems. He uses Tekla Structures to deliver accurate 3D models, fabrication drawings, and coordination plans that ensure projects are efficient, buildable, and delivered on time.

Brad’s career includes a decade at Elland Steel Structures Ltd., mastering hot rolled steel detailing, followed by senior roles at Remagin and MetStructures, where he led projects using proprietary LGSF systems, such as Sigmat and CMF. His portfolio spans residential, commercial, modular, and hybrid builds, integrating steel decking, rebar, façades, and architectural features.

Known for his precision, adaptability, and collaborative approach, Brad delivers steel detailing that works seamlessly from concept to completion.

Engineering Department

The Engineering Department boasts over 16 years of expertise in the structural steelwork industry. With a background in reinforced concrete and steelwork design, the team has contributed to large-scale infrastructure and healthcare projects.

Specializing in light gauge steel frame and hot-rolled steel podium structures, the department has developed innovative solutions, including advancements in sectional properties for structural profiles. Their efforts have solidified a reputation for excellence in manufacturing and design.

The department’s experience extends beyond the office, with hands-on management expertise, delivering complex design-and-build projects efficiently. A notable accomplishment includes leading one of the largest light gauge steel frame contracts in the UK, delivering multi-block projects on schedule and within budget. The team is also committed to mentoring junior staff, ensuring the continued development of technical skills within the organization.

Detailing Department

The Detailing Department brings over 22 years of experience in various forms of structural steelwork. Their expertise lies in the production of detailed drawings for both hot-rolled and Light Gauge (LGSF) steel frames, encompassing general arrangement and workshop drawings to ensure precise manufacturing and assembly.

The team excels in managing multi-office operations, coordinating a group of skilled structural technicians to deliver large-scale, multi-block projects. Their contributions include detailed design for extensive residential, commercial and educational developments. 

They also strive for ongoing improvement of software systems and detailing standards to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

A key focus for the department is the training and mentoring of apprentices, equipping the next generation with advanced skills in structural detailing and industry-leading software, ensuring a consistent standard of excellence.
